John Svendsen shares this with us….
Think about the successful business and organizations you have known. What do they have in common? The members are a team- they forget their personal agendas, and devote their talents and energies to working together for the common good.
I know just such an organization. It is over 2000 years old, and has branches all over the world, and its accomplishments over the years are celebrated. The Chief Operating Officer is history’ greatest teacher and The Chief Executive Officer can do anything. All you need to do in order to get a job is to apply, and the work is both interesting and personally satisfying. You’re also guaranteed a promotion. Eventually, you’ll be transferred to the home office, and even though there will be a performance review, all it will determine is your new job classification. You’ll be a member of a team forever, and continue to enjoy all the perks and benefits. Can you imagine a better deal?
Of course, we’re talking about the community of Christian believers. In working together to bring about Christ’s kingdom on earth, the team members find their lives enriched beyond measure. We’re hiring! Apply today!
Love and peace,
Pastor Jerry
