• Teachers:
o Current teachers: need to get their background checks in place before Sept. 13. Please sign up to teach on the schedule outside the church office. September and October calendars are waiting for you!
o New Teachers: If you would like to teach once a month or more, please see Fran Gibbs. We have great curriculum with flexibility, and you are welcome to shadow another teacher to see what it is all about. All your supplies and lessons are furnished and ready for you.
o Lessons for September will soon be available in the hanging file box by the church office.
• Calling All Kids: Sunday School Starts September 13 at 9:30am! We have missed seeing you and can’t wait to begin another year. Classes are for potty-trained Preschoolers through Grade 8.
• Backpack Blessing Thank you: “To my church family, I want to thank you for all the school supplies. My zipper in my old backpack is coming apart so I was so happy to get a new backpack. With my mom and me having to stay at my grandma’s place while ours is getting fixed has been hard. I’m so happy to be able to go to school with such fun things like the neat erasers. I got to meet my teacher last night and I really like him. I have seven kids in my class and we get to have our own lockers. Thank you again for being nice to me. -Rex Venema”
