• DDF: While it may seem early, Lent is right around the corner and with it, flower orders for Easter are here! Orders are due by Sunday, March 22nd. The Deacons offer the flowers at a small profit to benefit the Deacon Discretionary Fund. Several members of our church have benefited from financial help, and we have a few gas gift cards to pass out when needed. *See insert for price and flower selection.
• Church Cancellation REMINDER: In the event of bad weather, church closings will be posted on TV8, TV-13, Facebook, and an email will be sent out to everyone on our email list. *Make sure your email is current with the church office.
• CC’s District Merger Board Meeting: Our church will be hosting the Central Congregational Church group’s meeting on Mon. Feb. 9 at 12pm. The West Michigan Association and Central Groups will be merging and we are the middle site; therefore, the meeting will take place here at our church.
• Scout Sunday: We look forward to Feb. 1 for Scout Sunday Service, when we honor the Scouts of America during our worship service. The scouts will help with many parts of the service. Because of the high attendance expected, Communion is moved to Feb. 15th.
• Mutual Ministry Volunteer Opportunities: If you would like to help with Coffee Service or give a Children’s Message, sign-up sheets are located outside the church office, under the bulletin board. Please sign up to help!
• New Liturgists: We are still looking for “new faces” to add to our liturgist volunteer list! *All readings are printed out and supplied for you! If you would like more information, please call the church office.
