• Next Meeting is Mon., Aug. 10th at 6:30pm.Important fall planning will take place. All Deacons, please try to attend.
• Blessing of the Backpacks is Sun., Aug. 16: Kids in attendance will receive a new blessing on a tag for their backpacks and free school supplies while they last after worship. Deacons are taking donations of new school supplies for children. See ‘CE News’ for more information.
• Come Gather Sunday is Sept. 13: Choirs and Sunday School will start and Bible Study Continues. Ice Cream Social at Coffee Service hosted by the Deacons will take place. This is a fun way to renew your commitment to First Congregational Church for the fall. Please make every effort to attend!
• Deacons are hosting the Michigan Association of Congregational Churches in October. More information will be coming in September.
