• Next Meeting is Mon., Oct. 12 at 6:30 pm.
• The biggest project for the Deacons is getting ready for the Michigan Conference of Congregational Churches on October 16 and 17. You are welcome to attend. On Friday, there is a business meeting and a Program Session. Saturday starts with a breakfast provided by the Deacons and more business meeting agenda items. There are two program sessions to round out the morning, followed by lunch. Women’s Fellowship is providing soups and build-your-own sandwiches. If you can provide a crockpot of soup, please see Chris Hubbard. The day will end with worship at 1:30 along with communion.
• As Pastor Ed announced, we are trying to organize Prayer Requests by having you fill out your request to be read at prayer time. It is sometimes difficult to hear the requests during worship unless they are announced.
• Be sure to mark your calendars for the October 11 Church Service. Pastor Ed and Trudi Cunningham will be teaming up to provide a meaningful service for all.
• Volunteers Needed! We always need Coffee Service Volunteers and Children’s Message Volunteers. Just sign up outside the church office. If you have questions, ask Fran Gibbs for help!
• Green Acres Services: Pastor Ed is busy on the third Sunday of the month at Green Acres providing a church service and hymn singing. You are invited to join them!
• Our Christmas Mission will again serve the students at Satterlee School. Watch for more information about gift needs in late October. Our gifts mean so much to these young adults
