Deacon Meeting is Tues, Aug. 12 (time TBA)
The deacons will be planning a few fun activities for the upcoming year, starting with ‘Backpack Sunday’ on August 17.
• SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATIONS: Along with backpack tags, we like to provide our families with school supplies. We still have lots of crayons, so items like paper, pencils, pens, glue sticks, markers, folders, just to name a few. When you see them in the store, please consider buying school supplies and donating them to Backpack Sunday! Collections start mid-July.
• Sanctuary Soundbooth Tech Committee: Tim Hyde will be heading up this committee and will be overseeing the training. If you are interested in being a member of this committee to help run the sound & PowerPoint or the camera in the balcony during the Sunday Service, see Deacons Tim Hyde or Don Gibbs.
• Tithing Cards: You will soon see new cards in the pews for those wishing to give to the church through "Tithe.ly.’ It will provide a way to give and serve as a barrier to keep envelopes from falling from the holders.
• Children’s Sermons: If you have a short message for our youth, please sign up at the church office.
• Coffee Service: Sign-up sheets are by the church office. Please sign up to help!
